Stromberg Carlson tailgate models VG-97-100 and VG-97-2000 fit 2008 Ford trucks. However, a pivot tube insert for the driver side of our gate is required for all 2008 Ford trucks that have a torsion bar built into the Ford gate. (Stromberg part number: CP-2053)
